The "Rexangle" is a new shape for Cutler and Gross; a hexagon and rectangle combined. An unfamiliar shape offering the best of both worlds. The double milling that features prominently in the 1384 is repeated for the 1385. The bold angles give the frame a raw, unstructured flow. Traditional Italian techniques are transplanted into a new way of designing and interpreting.
